Ballon d’Or 2026: Diaz gives two major reasons Harry Kane must win award

Bayern Munich star, Luis Diaz, has given two major reasons teammate, Harry Kane must win the 2026 Ballon d’Or.

Diaz and Kane were among the 30 players shortlisted for the Ballon d’Or.

The Ballon d’Or winner will be announced next month in London.

Speaking with Sky Sport Germany, Diaz insisted that Kane must win the Ballon d’Or because he is one of the best players in the world and has proven it for a very long time.

“I have noticed several people have talked about this [2026 Ballon d’Or], every opinion deserves respect,” Diaz said.

“From my point of view, Harry must be the Ballon d’Or winner. Because he is one of the best players in the world and has proven this for a very long time. Also, his performance last season was simply incredible.”
